Easter Activities
A few days before Easter we headed over to other Skylar's house to dye eggs and do some crafts. Paula (Skylar's mom) got these non-spill egg cups that were a total pain in the butt! You have to tip the cup completely upside-down with a glove on in order to get the egg out, which of course spills out dye all over the place. We also had some extra-large eggs that did not pop easily into or out of the cups - so for your future knowledge do NOT use the non-spill cups! 
We made some cute bunny ears - Brooks wore them for about 2 seconds - just long enough to snap a picture!
They had hid some confetti eggs in the backyard for the kids to find - here are the Skylar's getting ready to go hunt some eggs!Skylar cracked a good one on Brooks' head!
The kids had fun waking up to their Easter baskets! They got a nice sugar rush first thing in the morning!
Brooks got a cool Spiderman!
Brooks would find an egg, eat the candy, go look for another egg, eat the candy, repeat . . .
We had the neighbors over to have breakfast and do an Easter egg hunt. We are so lucky to have great neighbors that we LOVE and that also have kids the same age as ours - it makes the holidays a bit more fun!
Chris came home one night yelling for me to get the kids out of the bath . . . the reason - he wanted us to check out this absolutely amazing thundercloud! Of course, not a drop of rain for us but still a pretty cool sight.

Did Skylar get a haircut? It looks like it...and I love it! She looks so grown up. Glad that you guys had a great Easter! Brooks is so funny with the candy eating! Hope to see you guys soon!!!

P.S. Did you guys get any tornados down there? We had a few but none that directly hit us.(It's Tornado Season again)
