Weekend

Skylar and Brooks both were at camp last week - Brooks enjoyed his first "school" experience and is looking forward to going to school in the fall. Brooks made a bear puppet, painted, made lemonade and other treats and had a splash day (Skylar was jealous so I had to make sure she knew it was a "baby" splash day). Skylar's was a drama camp - she played the very important parts of a flower in Little Red Riding Hood (her lines "Beware of the wolf! Beware of the wolf!") and a dragonfly who danced around the moon in the Grouchy Ladybug.Getting ready to go onstage!
Brooks and Daniel watching the game.
Sharon and Steve invited us to the Round Rock Express game on Friday. Steve's work had rented the pool area so food, drinks, parking etc. were all included we felt like VIPs! Of course the kids wanted to swim the entire game, we finally managed to drag them out of water during the 8th inning when everyone was getting exhausted (especially moms and dads I'm sure!). There was an amazing fireworks display after the game that the kids loved.
Sharon and I after like 4 hours of swimming. Of course Chris had to work so I was in the water the entire time. Back and forth between the jacuzzi and pool - looking forward to Brooks learning to swim!

We had a relaxing Saturday where we all took naps to recuperate after the game, and then spent yesterday at the lake - great weekend!
