Ahhhhh, how cute!

They are hanging out so peacefully and then Brooks grabs for the hair - ouch! He grabs for anything these days he's so curious. Brooks had a few really rough nights of sleep waking every two hours and then what appeared in his mouth yesterday but his first little tooth! Chris is sad he loves the toothless grin stage. Last night Brooks finally slept two 6 hour stretchs again - yeah!

The weather has been confusing for us lately. It goes from spring to winter in a matter of hours. On Friday it was beautiful, 80 degrees and sunny and then Saturday it didn't get out of the 30s. Skylar got dressed in a t-shirt and shorts on Saturday not knowing winter had come (again) but her outfit below is what she actually went out in.

She went to her first princess party on Saturday. All her girlfriends from school were there. Chris manages to work every birthday party so I get stuck taking both kids - ugh! I really needed both hands at this party too because Skylar dropped her cake, frosting side down of course, on their floor. Wrestling her out of the party when it's time to leave is also a two handed job.

Chris went to Skylar's school on Friday and taught them a bit about fire safety and showed them his gear. They were so cute! They noticed the "fire on his arm" and told Chris about their boo boos and that there's no fire at their houses. Of course Skylar noticed that Chris said if you find a lighter or matches you should give them to your older brother or sister or a parent. After that he said parent only but she would interject "or your older sister, Brooks will need to give the matches to me!"
