Easter Greetings!
Here are a few photos from our Easter holiday! A cold front blew in on Friday night bringing freezing temperatures and sleet. We postponed our camping trip and did indoor things like decorate cupcakes and have an indoor egg hunt. I boiled a bunch of eggs but haven't been brave enough to let Skylar color them yet . . . maybe next year! Hope the Easter bunny was good to you all!
She was the first one in the room for the egg hunt and was totally into it. We had to empty her basket a few times because it kept overflowing. It was funny because the kids would hunt for eggs and walk past all the obvious ones laying in the middle of the floor. Kellen would shake the eggs and if they sounded empty he'd just leave them (some of the "empty" ones had dollars in them so Skylar ended up with about $8 . . . not too shabby!).
Here are the three unedible cupcakes that Skylar decorated. She used an entire shaker of sprinkles on them . . . yummy!
Skylar now says "Cheese" when you're taking her picture. She also makes the smacking noise when she gives kisses, it's adorable!
