The Moren Family

"Ice Storm 2007" kept us housebound for over 3 days! Everything was a total mess - especially because Chris decided to put kitty litter on the sidewalk to keep the ice from building up. FYI - that is not a good idea! Skylar was sick for most of the storm so we barely even went outside.

Thursday we finally thawed out so Skylar and I (to alleviate our cabin fever) went to San Antonio to pick up Papa Moren! It was a blazing 50 degrees there so we enjoyed a walk through the Chinese Garden at Brackenridge Park before we headed home. Skylar had a great weekend hanging out with her Papa - the more people paying attention to her, the better!

We had a girls night on Sunday to celebrate Marisa's birthday. We ended up on 6th Street having a little more fun than we probably should have since most of us had to get up early the next day to work or take care of little ones. It was worth it though, sometimes you just need to dance on the bar!
Snow and icicles (my plants are under the blankets and most of them actually survived - I have such a green thumb!)!
